Leysop 6mm RTP Pockels Cell

                      This RTP Pockels cell has been fitted with two RTP crystals each only 7mm long, 6mm cross section.
                      The dimensions of these crystals give a half-wave voltage at 1064nm of 3.6kV. Since the application
                      only requires 10kHz maximum repetition rate, a KD*P driver has been modified for this cell, as this
                      driver will give the fastest rise time.

                      The oscilloscope trace below shows the measurement of the optical transmission in a single-pass setup
                      measured with a photodiode of risetime 1nsec.
                      Parameters: 1064nm, 3.6kV, time difference of On/Off triggers 10nsec.

                      difference between the On/Off triggers was reduced, at the same time increasing the drive voltage
                      to the cell.
